10 DAYS MAASAI MARA – NAKURU – AMBOSELI – DIANI

After breakfast, depart for the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.  A brief relaxation and then embark on an afternoon game drive in the reserve.  Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Take a morning and afternoon game drive in this vast savannah grassland looking for the big five (elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe and other plains game). A visit to the Mara River will give you a wonderful opportunity to see the hippos and crocodiles, that co-exist in the same water. This is the natural migration bridge of the wildebeest and zebras on their way from the Tanzania Serengeti National Park into Kenya’s Maasai Mara.  Picnic lunch at the Mara River. Later dinner and overnight at the camp /lodge.

After breakfast leave for Lake Nakuru National Park. Check-in at the hotel then embark on a game drive. Spend the rest of the day at the hotel at leisure, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park with a visit to Baboon Cliff. Some of the birdlife in Lake Nakuru National Park includes flamingos, ostriches, ducks, guinea fowl, pheasants, rouse, grebes, pigeons and doves, sandgrouse, bustards, cuckoos, swifts, rails, gallinules, coots, cranes, stilts, avocets, plovers, lapwings, painted-snipes, crab plover, gulls, terns, skimmers, storks, cormorants, shags, pelicans among others. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

At 0800hrs, leave Nakuru for Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for an afternoon game drive between 1600 hours and 1830 hours in search of rhinos, lions, giraffe, elephants and many other species. This park is located at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, which provides a beautiful back drop from this park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp.

After breakfast, leave for the enchanting Kenyan Coast, arriving at Diani between 1330 hours and 1400hours. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a sumptuous lunch. Spend the rest of your day at the hotel or beach at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Spend two days at the hotel, enjoying the hotel facilities. On one of the days, leave for a full day trip to Wasini Island where you will spend the day snorkeling and swimming with the dolphins. Sail to Kisite marine national park where you will snorkel and swim. Kisite Marine national park is the second most famous marine park in the world after the Australian Marine Park. It covers an area of 30km. Animals seen here include turtles, marine tortoise, bear reefs, coral reefs and different types of marine fishes. Alternatively, you talk to the sports centre to organize for you any other type of activity that you may be interested in participating in while at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, take your flight back to Nairobi. Check-in at the hotel and relaxation. Meals and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a brief city tour with one of our guides, combined with shopping at the city. Drop off at the airport for your flight back home.
