Day 1: Nairobi

We will pick you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Check in at the beautiful hotel and relax from your long journey, as you accustom to the relaxing Nairobi ambience. Meals and overnight at the hotel. 

 Day 2: Nairobi- Amboseli

At 0800hrs, leave Nairobi and drive south through Maasai country via Namanga on the Tanzanian border where you shall have your lunch. Proceed to Amboseli to arrive in time for an afternoon game drive between 1600hours and 1830 hours in search of rhinos, lions, giraffe, elephants and many other species. Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain provides a beautiful back drop from this park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp.

Day 3: Amboseli

Have a pre-breakfast game drive between 0630 hours and 0800 hours in this park famous for its big game and great scenic beauty then return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, visit the Maasai village (at an extra fee) or take a nature walk. Lunch at the lodge/camp, followed by an afternoon game drive between 1530 hours and 1830hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 4: Amboseli – Tsavo East

After breakfast, take a morning game drive after which you will proceed to Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for lunch. This park has large herds of elephants, the famous man eating lions (during the building of the Kenya/Uganda Railway in 1890) and other species of wildlife. It is in this park that you will also find the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest larva flow. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

 Day 5: Tsavo East – Mombasa

After breakfast, leave for the enchanting Kenyan Coast arriving in Mombasa between 1330 hours and 1400hours. Check in at your hotel and enjoy a sumptuous lunch. Spend the rest of your day at the hotel or beach at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Mombasa

After breakfast, visit Mombasa Old Town and other attractions. Start your day off with a trip to Fort Jesus, the city’s largest museum and attraction. Built in 1593 by the Portuguese, this storied fort offers a glimpse into prison cells and torture rooms for slaves before they were traded. The adjoining museum gives an overview of the fort’s role throughout the city’s history. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and head over to Old Town to walk through Mombasa’s varied architecture, which tells the stories of its history with its strong European, Arab and African influences. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Mombasa – Nairobi

After breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Nairobi. You will have lunch at a local restaurant en route and later on be dropped off at any agreed point.
